I started Crafted because I believe it’s important to provide beautifully constructed homes where attention is paid to each detail and the work is done with integrity. I want to be challenged in my work and build unique spaces that people can enjoy for years to come.

I grew up working on a sod farm in Iowa where I learned the satisfaction of having worked with my hands each day. I enjoy seeing the tangible product of a hard day’s work.

Then over the next ten years I spent time working in the construction industry. I worked in the field and also in the office in project management. I’ve managed projects and teams of various sizes in commercial construction. I’ve also spent time remodeling and renovating my own homes over the years as a hobby. Crafted captures all of my work experience to deliver a service that will leave you with a space in your home that reflects who you are. It also provides a place for me to get to build new and exciting things utilizing both tried and true techniques along with new, cutting edge techniques.

Crafted wouldn’t exist without the support and encouragement of my wife, which is why she is pictured. She has helped me get where I am today —pursuing my dream of starting my own business in construction.
